Last tickets for tenebrae

Dear listeners, dear listeners,

thank you for your overwhelming interest in this year’s Dark Watch at the Yellow Hill Water Tower. Although we have gradually added more and more dates and will be presenting them eight times in three days, there are only one date left, Thursday 17 April at 9.30pm. We’re down to our last ten seats.

We will have a chant reminiscent of the traditional washing of feet on Maundy Thursday, in the chants written in the antiphonary of Eliška Rejčka, the founder of the Cistercian monastery in Old Brno. Conceptually, the evening will be based on the attribute “aqua/water” and will draw on the element of water not only as a symbol of purification, but also, for example, on the motif of humility and equality, precisely from the perspective of the aforementioned foot-washing ritual.
